Commissioning Art Process
In order to prepare a commission proposal and a quote, please consider the following:-
1. Size of painting? Measure the space where it will go.
Tip – use sheets of newspaper in the area to visualise the artwork size.
2. Style of work & topic?
3. Portrait or Landscape?
4. Substrate: – Canvas, Linen, Paper or Wooden Panel?
5. Consider things such as colours, mark making, texture, symbols that most appeal to you.
6. Write a brief description of what you would like and specifically what you like about my paintings.
7. Once an agreement has been reached to continue with your commissioned artwork, a 50% deposit is required in advance and the remaining 50% + shipping costs on completion of your painting.
